HSBC forecasts earnings of Hutchison down to HK$32.4 bln

With the declining of universal telecom, securitiesˇ¦ sentiments towards Hutchison Whampoa Ltd.(0013) turned negative. A reeseach report of HSBC Security pointed out that HK$5360 mln provision would be made for falling of Vodafone shares owned by Hutchison and its earnings of year 2000 were expected to decrease from HK$37.8 bln to HK$32.4 bln.
