British telecom rumored to sell Smartone stake

British telecom has formally appointed consultant for the preparation of selling its subsidiary investments in Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea and Malaysia. 20% stake of SmarTone Telecommunications Holdings(0315) is also included in the selling plan, citing Australian Financial Review.
