Nortel Networks to provide equipment to China Telcom

Nortel Networks said the company had signed an agreement with China Telecom to provide light-guide fibre network equipments valued US$44 mln. The equipments are provided to subsidiaries of China Telecom in Hubei, Jiangsu,and Jiangxi provinces.
