HSBC short-selling turnover at HK$61.5 mln , 30.3% of the total

31 Hong Kong stocks were short sold on a turnover of HK$202.8 mln.HSBC Holdings (0005), Europe's largest bank , had HK$61.5 mln sold short,30.3% of the total, recording the high of short-selling. HSBC closed the whole day unchanged at HK$102.50 on turnover of HK$918.8 mln.The second toppest of short-selling was Cheung Kong (0001). It had HK$19.8 mln shares sold short. Then came Amoy Properties (0101), Tracker Fund (2800) and China Mobile (0941).
