Hutchison, Cheung Kong to invest in TFHF &RNA Can Do

According to the South China Morning Post, Hutchison Whampoa (0013) and Cheung Kong Holdings (0001) are believed to have signed legally binding agreements to take stakes in investment of Tem Fat Hing Fung (Holdings) (0661), RNA Holdings Ltd. (0501) and Can Do Holdings Ltd. (0172) for HK$185 mln.RNA and TFHF were suspended on Jan. 15 pending an announcement on a planned placement. TFHF shares were last quoted at 18.8 HK cents while RNA shares at 25 HK cents. Can Do was also suspended on Jan. 15. Its shares were last traded at 79 HK cents. All of their shares remain suspended today.
