Cathay Pacific cancels proposals to cut pilot pay

Cathay Pacific Airways (0293) has canceled a plan to cut salaries of senior pilots. The airline would add overtime payment instead. The letter for its pilot union said that pilots would be paid overtime hourly at a rate equals 5 % of their monthly pay. The pilot union is now considering the airline's offer.
