China Everbright Bank oversubscriptin in rights issue

China Everbright Bank, a 20 %-owned unit of China Everbright (0165), has recorded an oversubscription in its rights issue. Its raise funds has been increased from about HK$3.388 bln to HK$4.353 bln. China Everbright Ltd has to contribute an additional HK$202 mln, putting total contribution reach HK$678 mln. Shareholding of the group in the bank would slightly rise to 20.7 % upon the completion of transaction
