H.K. to raise tobacco duty 5%, effective immediately

Donald Tsang, Hong Kong's financial secretary, said he proposed to raise tobacco duty 5%The proposal will help bring in revenue of HK$130 mln for the fiscal year ending March 2002, HK$580 mln for the next four years.
