HK Stocks Open Lower, Led by China Mobile, Properties

Hong Kong stocks started Thursday lower, led by China Mobile (0941) and properties. Overall market sentiment was weak on the fact that Financial Secretary Donald Tsang hasn't included any initiatives in his 2001-2002 Budget to boost the property sector, though the market hadn't expected too much on the Budget before its delivery, traders said. Heavyweights HSBC Holdings (0005) remained flat.
