e-kong falls despite earnings higher than expectation

e-Kong fell though favorable annual report was released. The company recorded net profit HK$1.3 mln against 1999 net loss HK$78.4 mln. Adrian Lowe, an analyst at Leon, said institutional investors had no interest in e-Kong due to its obscure profit outlook of business operation mode.At present e-Kong is running 3 portals to provide IDD telecom service, hotel booking service and insurance service. e-kong also provids other online charged services.
