HKEX expected profit over 60%

Ahead of HKEX¡¦s release on annual report today, the securities expected the net profit of HKEX in 2000 to grow 60%.ING envisaged the FY annual profit of HSBC would be HK$916 mln, 75.8% higher than last year while Merrill Lynch expected its net earnings to be HK$834 mln, growing 60%.
