Shi Guangsheng : entry to WTO/2

Shi Guangsheng, minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation PRC, said no final agreements had been reached on agriculture, industrial allowance, and concrete implementation of opening up partial service business. Seeking to break ice before the multilateral meetings held at Geneva, China delegation went to Washington last week to discuss the lowest support to domestic agriculture.But he refused to disclose whether China would promise to reduce allowance to farmers. He criticized some WTO members holding too high demands towards China, which exceeded bearable limit of China as a developing country.
