China Everbright Intl in talks to sell Hong Kong Construction stake: report

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - China Everbright International Ltd is in talks with independent parties to dispose of its 35.07 pct stake in Hong Kong Construction (Holdings), the Ming Pao Daily cited market sources as saying. The sources said China Everbright has contacted some potential buyers, including a unit of New World Group and China-based property developers, for the stake disposal. The report said it is expected Hong Kong Construction will make an announcement about the stake transfer today.
