New World Dev falls 6.9% on a turnover of HK$159mln at midday

New World Development(0017) suffered short selling by funds as it had been rumored that its interim dividend might be lower than HK$ 300mln. It plunged over 7.33% to close at HK$10.8, dropping 6.9%, once falling to HK$10.75.The turnover amounted to HK$159mln, rating the 7th biggest transaction volume.
