tom.com/ChinaTimes.com invest 5 mln usd for China-Plus jv

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - tom.com Ltd said in a statement that it formed a partnership with Taiwan-based ChinaTimes.com to set up an overseas holding company China-Plus to develop integrated interactive marketing business in Greater China. China-Plus is equally owned by the company and ChinaTimes.com with an investment of 5 mln usd, it added. The venture will initially operate primarily out of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. "China-Plus targets to combine Internet call centres, interactive marketing and database marketing services to become an integrated interactive marketing service provider in China," the company said. ChinaTimes.com is the integrated marketing flagship of Taiwan's newspaper group, China Times Group.
