HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Hong Kong and China Gas Co Ltd 2000 results: Net profit - 3.13 bln hkd vs 2.89 bln Sales - 6.55 bln hkd vs 6.22 bln Opg profit - 3.19 bln hkd vs 2.94 bln Interest income - 383.4 mln hkd vs 426.2 mln EPS - 60.7 cents vs 55.9 cents Final div - 23 cents, unchanged The company said sales after fuel cost adjustment totalled 6.65 bln hkd, compared with 5.84 bln a year earlier. It said its share of profits from associates in 2000 amounted to 50.6 mln hkd, compared with 15 mln.
