Petrochina plans to enlarge throughput

According to sources, Petrochina (0857) is planning to enlarge its throughput nearly three times to 4 mln barrels in 2005. Relevant applications will be submitted to government for approval.Dalian will probably be the place to build up a super-efficient refinery and about RMB10 bln will be invested to make the refinery of Danlian to be largest one in China in 2005.
