Utilities surge in downward market

Utility stocks went upstream this morning. CLP Holdings (0002) rose to HK$40.7, Hong Kong & China Gas (0003) soared to HK$10.95. These two stocks both added 3.3%, on the top level in the market.Hongkong Electric (0006) was up HK$0.1 to HK$28.9.
