Proposal on saving insurance to be submitted to administrative meeting

Hong Kong Monetary Authority will submit introduction plan of saving insurance to administrative meeting and will carry out the 2nd consultation in banks after the proposal has been approved . A man of source said HKMA principally set up limit of saving insurance plan at HK$100,000 with 0.08% insurance premium. As for the manner of setting up management institution of saving insurance, HKMA has no final conclusion till consultation of banking circles.
