China Mobile not to follow parent on lower fixed monthly payment

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - China Mobile (Hong Kong) said it will not follow parent China Mobile Communications Corp in introducing a fixed monthly payment package ranging from as low as 30 yuan.	    The parent firm earlier launched a seven-tier pricing package involving  fixed monthly payments of as low as 30 yuan and as high as 788 yuan, compared with China Mobile's 98-788 yuan in six-tier fixed monthly payments due to take effect later this month.	    "We (China Mobile and the parent) have different market strategies. China Mobile will not follow its parent in launching the 30 yuan monthly payment," a China Mobile spokesperson said.	    The spokesperson said there is no overlap in service areas between China Mobile and the parent.	    "We have no competition," the spokesperson said
