China mobile phone user up 5.3% to 89.8 mln by the end of Jan

According to the data from China Ministry of Information Industry, there were 89.8 mln mobile phone users in China by the end of January. It was increased 5.3% compared with the end of last year.By the end of January, the fixed phone users were totally 14.8 mln, increasing 2.8% compared with the end of last year, while the pager users were reduced 2.1 mln to 46.5 mln.
