China Travel/acquires assets -- 2 (other details)

In the statement, China Travel said the asset injections and disposal of the road and bridge business will be part of China Travel's efforts at business restructuring to focus on core tourism business.	    In January, China Travel sold a 23 pct stake in Hing Kong Holdings. 	    China Travel Service (Hong Kong) has almost 50 branches in Hong Kong and overseas, while China Travel Net's business includes application service provider and online travel agency services of chinatravelone.com, the statement said.	    The statement said the parent provides a profit guarantee of no less than 187 mln hkd for 2001 and 2002 respectively for China Travel Service (Hong Kong) and China Travel Net.	    The parent also guarantees the net asset value of China Travel Service (Hong Kong), China Travel Net and Hotel Grandeur will be no less than 817 mln hkd on the completion of the agreement.
