China Unicom seeks approval for new 7-tier tariff package: report
HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - China Unicom has sought approval from the Ministry of Information Industry for its new seven-tier tariff rate package, the Sing Tao Daily cited a company spokesperson as saying. The spokesperson said the package includes seven-tier fixed monthly fees ranging between 88 yuan and 708 yuan. However, the spokesperson said it remains to be seen when the company will secure the approval. Earlier this month, China Mobile announced plans to secure authorities' approval for its six-tier tariff package with fixed monthly fees ranging between 98 yuan and 788 yuan.
