Global Link Cyber to issue up to 30 mln usd convertible notes

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Global Link Cyber International Ltd said it has agreed to issue a maximum 30.0 mln usd of convertible notes to Acqua Wellington Far Eastern Fund I Ltd.	    Net proceeds from the transaction will be used for pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical investment, debt repayment and as general working capital, it said.	    The notes can be converted into 1.16 bln shares at a discount to the market price. They also include call options, which will involve the issue of an additional 20 mln shares, the statement said. 	    Overall, the new shares will represent 19.03 pct of the existing or 15.99 of the enlarged capital of the company, if the notes are fully converted, including the exercise of the call options, it said.	    Separately, it said it will change its name to China Bio-medical Group Ltd to reflect its focus on the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
