US Feb CPI up 0.3%

US Labor Department announced February CPI to be 0.3%, higher than market expectation of 0.2%. It resulted from the first drop of energy price in a half year and surge of medicine price. Excluding food and energy, February Core index rose by 0.3%, the same up range with January but higher than expected 0.2%. The whole CPI gained 3.5% compared with 3.7% in January.
