HSBC to announce fee/charge plans on April 3

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - HSBC Holdings Plc said it will announce on April 3 plans about moves on fees and charges in Hong Kong it is making in response to interest rate deregulation in July.	    The bank did not give further details about the plans.	    It said it cannot bring forward the date of the announcement since proper communication with its customers and staff requires the preparation of appropriate materials.	    In a statement, HSBC said the bank will neither confirm or deny market speculations about fees and charges the bank is expected to introduce.
