Wall Street: Dow Jones sees late rebound, Nasdaq surges over semi-conductors

Dow Jones rebounded at a low level over certain absorption at low before closing but still closed low. Nasdaq displayed good performance with semi-conductor rallying.Dow Jones closed at 9389.48pts, down 97.52pts. S & P 500 dropped 4.56pts to close at 1117.58pts. Nasdaq gained 67.47pts to close at 1897.70pts.Dow Jones once bottomed 9106.84pts in the morning session. Bargain-hunting on semi-conductor sector stimulated the investors to absorb other stocks, which pushed Dow Jones to a high of 9497.72pts.
