Hong Kong stocks rise 269pts at midday

Hang Seng Index rose continuously after it opened up 95pts in the morning session. It rose 269.69pts, or 2.14%, to close at 12853.05pts on a turnover of HK$5.06bln. Spot month futures rose 262pts to close at 12892pts at midday, 38pts premium above the cash market.
