Wharf Holdings 2000 results -- 2 (property investment opg profit 2.42 bln hkd)

Wharf Holdings said its property investment division recorded sales of 3.32 bln hkd and operating profit of 2.42 bln hkd in 2000, compared with 3.31 bln hkd and 2.53 bln in 1999, it said.	    The property development division recorded sales of 1.64 bln hkd and operating profit of 99.0 mln hkd in 2000, compared with 993 mln hkd and 100 mln hkd in the previous year.	    During the same period, the logistics division achieved sales of 3.44 bln hkd and operating profit of 1.84 bln hkd, against 3.20 bln hkd and 1.68 bln hkd previously, it said.	    The company said it derived sales of 2.53 bln hkd and operating profit of 19.0 mln hkd from its communications, media and entertainment business, compared with a loss of 267 mln hkd on sales of 2.05 bln a year earlier.
