Wharf 2000 net asset value at HK$23.14 per share, 4% higher yr-on-yr

Wharf(Holdings)(0004) announced its net asset value per share was HK$23.14 to last Dec. , 4% higher compared with HK$22.24 in 1999.In 2000,the company net debt reduced to HK$19.5bln from HK$ 21.6bln in 1999. HK$19.5bln consist of HK$ 22.7bln debt and HK$ 3.2bln cash and deposit. The debt rate fell to 22% from 24%. And the capital repaid for debt totaled HK$5.8bln, accounting for 26% of the total debt.
