CNOOC appoints ex-Salomon Smith Barney banker Qiu as chief financial officer

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - CNOOC Ltd said it has appointed Mark Qiu Zi-lei as its new chief financial officer and senior vice president, effective immediately.	    Qiu was formerly Salomon Smith Barney's regional oil and gas banker before becoming the president and chief financial officer of an e-commerce venture.
