SUNDAY Communications unit to bid for Singapore 3G license

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - SUNDAY Communications Ltd said in a statement that its wholly owned subsidiary SUNDAY Holdings (Singapore) Corp has submitted an application to pre-qualify for Singapore's 3G auction.	    According to the timetable issued by the InfoComm Development Authority of Singapore, eligible bidders will be notified on April 2, and required to submit an initial offer together with a bank guarantee on April 9, it said.	    The auction for 3G spectrum rights in Singapore is scheduled to begin on April 23, it added.	    As of Dec 31, SUNDAY Communications had cash reserves and available credit facilities totalling 1.7 bln hkd, it said.
