Cisco: slowdown of US economy sweeps over the world gradually

John Chamber, executive director of Cisco System, an US network equipment manufacturer, said slowdown of US economy would lastat least 3 quarters and there was track showing that the slowdown was sweeping over the world gradually  When interviewed by Financial Times, Chambers said the speed of slowdown of US economy had been getting worse before the profit warning of Cisco was issued in January. He said the phenomena would sustain for two or three quarters. He pointed out the Asia-Pacific had saw the phenomena and preliminary signs also had showed in Europe. He urged US government to take active actions to handle the problem.
