China Unicom not to carry out the charging package before April 3

Li Zhengmao, vice chairman of China Unicom(0762), said the company wouldnˇ¦t carry out the preferential charging package service before releasing the profit on April 3. He said the charging package was only a way of promotion, but not a policy of cutting price and the charging package plan had been submitted to ministry of Information Industry. He also pointed out that the charging package service wouldnˇ¦t make the ARPR of the company down .
