Cheung Kong falls by 3.67% on the rumor of placement

Affected by the rumor on Cheung Kong (Holdings)(0001)placement, Cheung Kong plunged sharply in the afternoon session . It fell by 3.67% to close at HK$78.75. while Hang Seng Futures Index dropped 405pts to close at 12650pts.Last Thursday , Cheung Kong announced to increase its share capital by HK$1bln. Market anticipated that the company had to raise capital for its acquisition of HK$ 100bln
