Greenspan says more resources needed to understand changing economic structure

WASHINGTON (AFX) - Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan said more statistical resources are needed to understand the rapidly changing economic structure.	    In a speech prepared for delivery to the National Association of Business Economics, Greenspan said that U.S. statistical systems face a challenge as a larger proportion of GDP than previously has reflected the value of ideas rather than of material substance or manual labor.	    He made no mention of the economy or monetary policy.
