Henderson Land to raise project completion by 81 pct in yr to June 2002

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Henderson Land Development plans to increase its completed projects by 81 pct to 2.7 mln square feet in the year to June 2002 to boost earnings, the South China Morning Post cited company strategic planning general manager Douglas Moore as saying.	    Moore said he is optimistic about the housing sector, adding that prime lending rates have reached a 30-year low.	    Moore said Henderson Land will complete 8.72 mln square feet over the next four years.	    He said that, out of the 8.72 mln square feet, about 4.57 mln will be in urban areas and the remaining 4.15 mln will be in suburban areas.
