PCCW 2000 net loss 886 mln usd; provisions on investments 667 mln usd

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd 2000 results:	        Sales - 935 mln usd	        EBITDA - 191 mln usd 	        Provisions on investments/unrealised losses - 667 mln usd	        Net finance charges - 302 mln usd	        Net loss - 886 mln usd 		    The results include earnings from HKT from Aug 17, 2000, when HKT was acquired by PCCW.	    Comparative figures were not immediately available.		    The company said it would write off against reserves 22 bln usd in goodwill related to last year's takeover of Cable & Wireless HKT, resulting in negative equity.
