CKI fails to win approval for Australia railway loan plan: report
HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Cheung Kong Infrastructure Holdings has failed to win approval from the South Australian State Parliament for a plan under which CKI would lend 26.5 mln aud to an Australian consortium for railway construction, the South China Morning Post cited CKI sources as saying. The sources said the failure came after the consortium disagreed with some of the terms contained in its agreement with the South Australian government, which had agreed to guarantee the loan.
