CitiBank HK net profit up 52% to US$148mln

CitiBank Hong Kong Branch announced FY to last Dec results: bad & doubtful debt provision widened up 54% to US$17mln; charges and commission extended to US$119mln; net interest rose to US$280mln. Pre-tax profit recorded US$179mln, up 54%. Post-tax profit rose by 52% to US$148mln.
