COSCO profit up for provision down

COSCO International Holdings (0517) saw 70% growth in its 20000 profit. The rising profit  resulted from its reducing provision, including the assets provision, investment book value provision and construction provision. On the other hand, the turnover of the group decreased by 26% mainly because all the big construction projects were already completed in 1999.
