PLDT might sign a memorandum with local cable service provider this week

ˇmBusinessWorldˇn cited the words of the Philippine trunk phone company PLDT, which is the subsidiary of First Pacific (0142), saying that the cable TV company Home Cable Inc. owned by PLDT might sign a memorandum with the local largest cable service provider Sky Vision Corp. this week. The two companies negotiated about the merger last year. But the negotiation was suspended, for PLDT agreed to join GMA Network Inc. later.  No details about the memorandum were revealed.
