China Everbright annual profit records new high, stock up 4%

China Everbright (0165) recorded its historical new high of net profit last year, increasing by 1.98 times to HK$1.292 bln. It is due to the gaining of HK$868 mln from selling the stake of China Mobile (0941) held by it and the satisfactory profit increase of its acquired China Everbright Bank and China Everbright Security last year.Influenced by its satisfactory earnings, China Everbright boomed to the high of HK$7.1 and recently stood at HK$7, gaining HK$0.25, or 3.7%.
