Focus stock: SUNDAY slightly down 1% over retreating from bidding for 3G

SUNDAY (0866) decided to retreat from bidding for Singapore 3G license, but the stock saw little change in the morning session to close at HK$0.42. In the afternoon, the stock went soft to touch a low of HK$0.415, down HK$0.005, or 1.19%.For the retreating from bidding for Singapore 3G license, Richard John Siemens, managing director of SUNDAY, said it was mainly because the company didn¡¦t have enough time to properly arrange the finance for the bidding. But he added the company would grasp the opportunity when the Singapore government put out the fourth 3G licenses in later time.
