Everbest Century to issue 3.108-3.414 mln shares at 0.025 hkd/shr

HONG KONG (AFX-ASIA) - Everbest Century Holdings Ltd said it is proposing to issue 3.108-3.415 mln new shares at 0.025 hkd to raise 75.0-82.7 mln hkd in net proceeds.	    The funds will be used for future investments and general working capital.	    The offer shares will be issued on the basis of one new share for every existing share held by qualifying shareholders.	    Century Enterprise Investments Inc, which holds a 30.62 pct stake in the company has given its undertaken to subscribe for its entitled offer shares.	    Shenyin Wanguo Capital (HK) Ltd has been appointed the underwriter for the offer, the statement said.	    Everbest Century said it is also seeking a general mandate from its shareholders to issue and repurchase company shares.	    The company is seeking the resumption of the trading of its shares on the stock exchange today.
