China Mobile to reduce overseas IP fees broadly

It is reported that from April 21, 2001, China Mobile (0941) is to reduce its IP (17950, 17951) fees calling foreign countries, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.  After the adjustment, calling Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan is charged RMB1.5 per minute, down 40%. Calling America, Canada, Japan, Korea and Australia is charged RMB2.4 per minute, off 50% and calling other countries and areas is charged RMB3.6, 25% lower.While the IP fees for national long-trunk remain unchanged at RMB 0.3 per minute.
