US stocks rise; Tech take the lead

US stocks closed up broadly and Nasdaq saw its third-day continuous rising. The better-than-expected earnings report from big technical companys stimulated investors to absorb the sharply rebounding Tech stocks, which pushed the broad market up.The analysts said that the situation had turned bright at least at present and another rebound would probably emerge in next two months.Dow Jones Industrial Average Index rose by 102.53pts, or 4.93% to close at 2,181.97pts, up over 33% compared with the lowest point of April,4, but still down 57% compared with the highest of March, 2000.Standard and Poorˇ¦s 500 Index rose by 15.52pts, or 1.25% to close at 1,253.68pts.
