Star TV, PCCW lead list of potential PLDT partners for GMA 7: report

MANILA (AFX-ASIA) - Star TV and Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd are among the companies being considered by Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co as a potential partner in its acquisition of GMA Network Inc, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported.	    The newspaper quoted an unidentified source as saying that other companies in PLDT's short list are CanWest Global and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
