Legend ready to expand out-sourcing from Taiwan PC suppliers

TAIPEI (AFX-ASIA) - The Legend group is ready to expand its out-sourcing from Taiwan's PC suppliers as business grows further, executive director and senior vice president Ma Xuezheng was quoted as saying by the Commercial Times. 	    Currently, Legend is contracting Compal Electronics and First International Computer Inc for the supply of notebook PCs and Giga-Byte Technology Co Ltd, Micro-Star International Co and Mitac International Corp for motherboards, he said. 	    Despite an ongoing slowdown in the global PC market, mainland China is expected to see growth of 30-35 pct this year, he added.
