ICG pays HK$43.7 mln for FreeBorders priority shares

ICG Asia Limited (0715) announced that the company had agreed to acquire 2.07 mln priority B shares of FreeBorders for US$5.6 mln (circa HK$43.7 mln) last August. Later, the company signed a merging agreement to supply two loans valued at US$1.25 mln (circa HK$9.75 mln) to FreeBorders. In the agreement, ICG was granted the options to change the relevant loans into the priority shares of FreeBorders.
